We came up with the concept for Beta: an interdisciplinary conference merging all that we know as art with technology. Beta, an acronym for Bridging Experiences in Technology & Art, holds its focus to the intersection of seemingly opposing fields. Speakers and guests range from coders to dancers to architects to chefs, and everyone in between.
The visual identity pulls from ideas of a Rube Goldberg machine, or a vast kit of parts. The orientation of shapes can suggest an inactive jumble, a complex contraption, or an abstraction of a project to be covered by Beta. Steinbeck was our primary typeface.
